3rd graders ended their CKLA Human Body unit by participating in some stations to consolidate their understanding. Students made their names in sign language and braille, created the human spine and skeleton, made body parts out of Play-Doh, and played Operation.

Dear Parent(s), back to school is an exciting time for students and families, and as the beginning of the school year quickly approaches, we want to extend a warm welcome back to school! The Lunch Staff at LGS and WMS are eager to welcome your student(s) back to the school cafeteria with new and exciting entrees, vegetables, and fruits, and to inspire a healthy and fun 2024-2025 school year!
At Washington GSD #52, we participate in the National School Lunch Program. This means that our school lunches offer well-balanced meals that always include protein, whole grain, milk, fruit, and vegetables.
Our school meals are both healthy and delicious. When students eat a healthy lunch, they are better prepared to learn throughout the day. Some of our menu items include cheeseburger, pizza, breakfast for lunch, new homemade meals, variety of vegetables, and fresh fruit.
