Congratulations to Mr.Jerry Vires, this year‘s D52 Friend of Education Award recipient. Mr. Jerry served as a sub throughout this year and was willing to jump in and do anything in order to help our students learn and grow. He has a huge heart and we are thankful for his service!
Washington Middle Softball Tryouts are July 25, & 26 from 9:00-11:00 Washington Middle Baseball Tryouts are August 1st, & 2nd - 7th and 8th Grade are 10:00-12:00. 6th grade is 12:00-2:00.

Last Friday we took some time to celebrate all of our volunteers at LGS this year. From PTC, to library, to events...we couldn't do it without you! Thanks for making each moment count with our kids!
Congratulations to Jayne Hermann who earned two State Medals this weekend at the IESA 3-A State Track Meet. Jayne placed 5th in the 1600 meter run with a time of 5:33, and 2nd in the 800 with a time of 2:26. Great job Jayne!
