Spark your child’s curiosity and confidence at Camp Invention! The 2024 program, Illuminate, is coming to D52 for the very first time! It is geared towards all students entering 1st - 6th grade next year and will be held at WMS from June 10-14 from 9:00 - 3:30 daily. Students will collaborate with friends in hands-on STEM adventures designed to inspire creativity and provide an awesome summer experience. Please feel free to reach out to your child’s teachers by email regarding any of the learning tasks. Students will need to complete the learning day 4 tasks in order to have attendance credit. November 15th marks the official statewide observance of School Board Members Day in Illinois. Each year, this day is an opportunity to show support for our board of education and the individual school board members who are committed to providing a local voice for your educational decisions. School board members are volunteers serving as advocates striving for quality education opportunities for every student. Our board members act as front-line advocates providing a local voice for the community, a vision for the district, and a pathway to success for our students. The men and women serving WGSD #52 are David Robinson, President; Maggie Mose, Vice President; Jessica Leach, Secretary; and Board Members Dan Baker, Tim Custis, Katie Heinold, Whitney Klinke.
