Move Mining Project - Students interested in competing in a national competition are invited to an informational meeting 10th period on Sept 26 in the Commons. Students produce a 3 minute video promoting the mining industry; winners can earn prizes ranging from $25-$1000!
8th grade baby pics for the yearbook are being collected until Oct 4. WMS Scholastic Bowl wins their first match of the season (1-0). Score: 235 to 105 (A) and 225 to 125 (B). They did great!
Second Step Family Connection - Emotions affect decision making. When your emotions feel very strong, you can still make good decisions. Ask your child to describe a time when he or she was upset. Discuss good decisions that can be made the next time emotions are strong.
