Students in Grades 3-8 will take the Illinois Assessment of Readiness (IAR) in ELA and Math this spring. This test replaces the PARCC test. It will be very similar to PARCC. The targeted test window will be March 4-21, 2019. We are awaiting more information from the Illinois State Board of Education as to how many tests will be required and how long the tests will take. If a student is absent during the testing window, the student will have to makeup any tests missed once they return to school.
