The summer crew at LGS has been hard at work. When you join us for Meet the Teacher, check out the shiny floors!
The Technology Department has cleaned, organized, and deployed Chromebooks for 1st-4th graders! Kindergarten has tablets and a cart full of Chromebooks as well!
Mrs. Kellenberger and Mrs. Brown have been working hard to register families and make sure we are ready to go for the first day of school!
Here are some important dates to post on your refrigerator:
Tuesday, August 14: Kindergarten Orientation (Parents Only) 6:00 PM - Start in the Gymnasium
Wednesday, August 15: Meet the teacher night at LGS 5:00pm to 6:30pm (open house format).
Thursday, August 16: First day of school. Dismissal is at 11:25am.
Friday, August 17: Regular school day. Kindergarten is dismissed at 1:00. Doors open at 7:55!
Here are some important items to start the year:
There will be NO bus transportation for Kindergarteners on the first day of school. Please pick up and drop off at the kindergarten doors for the first day of school. After the first day, drop off for school for kindergarten is the same as the rest of LGS (main doors or circle drive). Kindergarten pick up is always at the Kindergarten doors.

We are mobile: We will be using the website/app to communicate with families. The live feed and news section will be updated with daily events and stories. Please be sure to download our app. Make sure you click on settings to opt in for notifications.
