Here are some important dates to post on your refrigerator:
Wednesday, August 14: Meet the teacher night at WMS 5:30pm to 7pm.
Student schedules can be viewed through Skyward .
Student schedules may be picked up from your PAWS teacher.
School supplies may be dropped off and students can practice locker combinations.
Thursday, August 15: First day of school. Dismissal is at 11am.
Friday, August 16: Regular school day. Doors open at 7:30!
Here are some important items to start the year:
Boot Camp: WMS will host a boot camp for students. It is important that we take time to teach students expectations. A consistent message that is reinforced by all staff will help students understand what it is we need them to do while at WMS. Students will rotate through different areas of the building and we will teach them what our expectations are for that particular area.
Arrival/Dismissal: Please review our procedures. Very important note: Doors open at 7:30 and please drive with extreme caution!
Visitors Entering WMS: Please review our procedures Very important note: All visitors will remain outside the main office until checked in by a office staff member. Please have your ID if you plan to enter the building.
We are mobile: We will be using the website/app to communicate with families. Please be sure to download our app or visit our website daily to view updates. The weekly calendar will be updated and can be viewed by clicking on the events tab. The live feed and news section will be updated with daily events and stories.
