OSF OnCall Program

OSF Health Care has introduced a new cutting edge and more convenient way for you to have minor illnesses diagnosed by a board-certified provider.  OSF OnCall is 24/7 health care available via phone or video, as an alternative for non-emergency health issues.  You'll be prompted to answer a few questions about your condition and request a virtual visit.  Typically, you'll be connected to a provider within 15-30 minutes.  The providers can diagnose and treat a number of minor illnesses such as sore throat, stomach virus, strains and sprains, sinus infections, UTI, rash, allergy, headache, burn, cut.  You don't have to make an appointment and can eliminate the wait in a waiting room at an office and most times don't need to leave your couch.

 

HOIE Health Plan Coverage:  There is a $35 flat fee for each OnCall "visit".  Patients will be required to pay the fee up front and then will need to turn in their receipt for coverage by the HOIE Health Plan.  Receipts should be submitted directly to Consociate or through Alexander Financial Services.  The $35 will be counted toward each participant's annual deductible.  In addition, the fee is an eligible expense for anyone with a Flex Spending Account (FSA).  The OnCall service is available to HOIE Health Plan participants beginning September 1, 2015.

 

IMPORTANT:  Please read the attached OSF OnCall document (FAQ's) to familiarize yourself with the process and when and how this new feature can be used.
